Hall & Hedderman and Suite Control were appointed to design and install all the Electrical, Home Automation and Security systems in this beautiful waterside home.
As the clients were not “techy” people, we took extra care to make sure that the home automation system was extremely simple to use.
Control4 was selected as the main Home Automation system, which was then integrated with a Dynalite Lighting Control system.
The owners can now enjoy music in 16 rooms, and view any of their Foxtel boxes and video content on the five TVs around the home, including two with 5.1 surround sound systems.
Along with the Control4 iPads and in-wall touchscreens, the owners can also control music volume in a number of rooms via the Dynalite in-wall lighting keypads.
The Control4 Video Intercom door station also enables the owners to answer the door from any of the Control4 touchscreens. From those same screens, the owners can start the spa, check its temperature, and monitor the CCTV camera footage to see when the bubbles are just right!
The Dynalite lighting control system helps emphasise the wonderful architectural design of the home, by setting a variety of lighting moods.
Despite the number of beautiful rooms in the house, the owners’ favourite place to show their guests is the Comms Room – where they love to show off our cabling work that makes the whole house run!
